LUXURY COLLECTION - Imperial Azure Silk quilted bedspread

From the house of The Eastern Hues, we present The Blue Heirloom Azure silk quilted bedspread; a deeply luxurious collection created around the richness of deep blue raw silk. The collection encompasses a quilted king-size bedspread in raw silk, where the quiet lustre of the fabric give the bed an immediate sense of grandeur.

Three square proportioned cotton jacquard cushions sit against the bed, each finished with an intricate navy embroidery panel at the centre, creating a beautiful visual connection between the cushions and the deep blue bedspread. Behind them, self-jacquard base cushions add a layer of pattern adding to the richness of the bedding. 

The detailing becomes more expressive through two 16” × 16” soft biggish dull gold  velvet cushions, featuring  executed cutwork patchwork in blue velvet and finished with delicate silver zari embroidery. The silver zari brings a subtle grace to the blue, outlining the patchwork with an almost jewellery-like feel.Two elongated velvet accent cushions, embellished with sequin patchwork, add another unexpected element to the collection  bringing a touch of quiet glamour without overwhelming the design. Two matching raw silk pillows complete the ensemble, allowing the luxurious blue to complete the set.

What makes this collection special is the way it brings together very different textile languages  raw silk, cotton jacquard, velvet, cutwork, zari and sequins  and gives each one its own place. Rather than creating a perfectly uniform bedding set, the collection has been thoughtfully layered so that every cushion contributes a different expression.The deep blue acts as the constant thread throughout, while the softer blues, ivory jacquards and silver detailing create dimension and balance.
